I’ve taught journalism, writing, English, and science courses as an adjunct instructor at UMass Dartmouth, Suffolk University, and Bristol Community College, and communications courses as a full-time instructor at Bridgewater State University. I teach both face-to-face and fully online courses.
Education changed my life and prepared me to make a difference in the world. My interdisciplinary undergraduate and graduate education—combining science, communications, writing, journalism, and literature—trained me to be an environmental journalist and a professional communicator. The schools I attended taught me to be an engaged citizen and an advocate for change.
I am committed to using my communications skills to make a difference in the world and have done this through teaching, writing, publishing, and serving as a public relations advocate for community, governmental, and nonprofit organizations.
